Prior to joining Shepard Law, Madeline was a prosecutor for the 14th Judicial Circuit. During this time, Madeline honed her litigation skills, cultivating strong relationships with judges, prosecutors, and law enforcement alike. Madeline gained invaluable trial experience and insight into the inner workings of the State Attorney’s office - knowledge she uses to give our clients a decisive edge.
As a native Texan, Madeline grew up on a farm and competed in rodeo. Madeline attended Oklahoma State University where she was recruited to join the rodeo team as a barrel racer. Her skills earned her the honor of caring for and riding the beloved school mascot, Bullet, onto the football field during home games. Through rodeo, Madeline cultivated a strong work ethic, commitment, and competitive drive that propel her advocacy in the courtroom. She leverages these experiences to passionately yet strategically represent our clients.
In 2019, Madeline graduated magna cum laude from OSU with a Bachelor of Science in Political Science and a minor in Religious Studies.
Madeline attended law school at the Florida State University College of Law. Before graduating from FSU in 2022, Madeline was accepted into a semester-in-practice in Walton county as a Certified Legal Intern, where she was mentored by a former judge and tried her first case from start to finish before she’d graduated law school.
Madeline is licensed to practice law in Florida and is an active member of the Florida Bar and Florida Association of Criminal Defense Attorneys.
