Mikiyah Everett is the first face — and often the first voice — that clients encounter at Shepard Law. She joined the firm in June 2025 bringing a Florida A&M University degree in Public Relations and prior experience in journalism, social media management, administrative support, and client services.

At Shepard Law, Mikiyah manages the front desk, handles initial client interactions, and contributes to the firm’s digital and community presence. Her background in communications means she understands both the professional demands of a busy criminal defense practice and the importance of making every person who contacts the firm feel received with care and professionalism — regardless of the circumstances that brought them there.
